Eventually it was time to make our way to the pier to board the catamaran that would take us on our fireworks cruise. Since it wasn't too cold out, we found spots at the very front.
The warm colors of the setting sun
Agamont Park (where we had just been sitting a short while earlier) had become packed with people waiting for the fireworks show.

We cruised all the way out to Egg Rock.
Seals littered the small island's rocky shores.
We headed back to Bar Harbor under the final rays of the day.
